Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Tucson, AZ)

Bluepeak Pine Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Tucson. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 184 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to attendance records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around learning materials against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
