Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Seattle, WA)

Ironwood Pike Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Seattle, and we need an Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory submissions, and clear open items. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
