Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Reno, NV)

Northwind Glen Health Partners is a healthcare provider in Reno with clinics and support teams. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
