Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Willow Pharma Partners and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 196 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
