Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Clearpath Forge Banking Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 257 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to card disputes, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
