Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Foxglove Basin Health Group is a healthcare provider in Dallas with clinics and support teams. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to insurance authorisations, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
