Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Cedar Hollow Facilities is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleaning schedules, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
