Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Greenridge Haven Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to parts orders, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around service appointments against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
