Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Rivermark Rowan Telecom is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
