Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Silverline Maple Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Dallas producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with quality documentation. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
