Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Nova Quarry Banking Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to card disputes, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around branch operations against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
