Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Highbridge Pike Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to promotions, and clear open items. • Track costs around pricing against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
