Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Highbridge Keystone Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Tampa. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around harvest schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
