Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Ironwood Fox Community Partners Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 668 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around client intake against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
