Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Foxglove Pine Housing Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 59 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
