Accountant - grant and fund accounting (remote)

Redstone River Markets Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Track costs around pricing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to online orders, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
