Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Raleigh, NC)

Clearpath Stone Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Raleigh. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
