Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Phoenix, AZ)

Highbridge Lakeside Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Phoenix, and we need an Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to care plans, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
