Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Oklahoma City, OK)

Nova Drift Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 244 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
