Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Nashville, TN)

Nova Keystone Health Group is a healthcare provider in Nashville with clinics and support teams, and we need an Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient education, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with patient education. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
