Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Little Rock, AR)

Summit Quarry Hospitality is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for guest bookings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with guest bookings. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
