Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Las Vegas, NV)

Greenridge Pike Pharma is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for quality documentation, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Track costs around cleanroom operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
