Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Las Vegas, NV)

Foxglove Facilities is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around supply orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer sites, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
