Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Fresno, CA)

Lumen Clear Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Fresno focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
