Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Dallas, TX)

Rivermark Quarry Hospitality is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for reviews and feedback, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
