Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Loom Auto Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be grant and fund accounting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
