Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Clearpath Haven Pharma is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 897 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
