Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Clearpath Ridge Medical Group is a Colorado Springs company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our grant and fund accounting. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
