Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Atlanta, GA)

Bright Pine Medical is a Atlanta company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring an Accountant to take on grant and fund accounting. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
