Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Atlanta, GA)

Rivermark Nest Financial Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory reports, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
