Accountant - grant and fund accounting (Albuquerque, NM)

Bluepeak Field Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on grant and fund accounting for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to online orders, and clear open items. • Track costs around promotions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
