Accountant - fixed assets (Wichita, KS)

Greenridge Quill Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Wichita, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field inspections, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around client sites against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
