Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

Fernwood Bright Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Tulsa. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
