Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Nest Markets and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to online orders, and clear open items. • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
