Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

Westbrook Linden Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Tulsa, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of about 900 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around customer sites against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
