Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

Redstone Drift Health runs clinics and patient services around Tulsa. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to insurance authorisations, and clear open items. • Track costs around electronic records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
