Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

Summit Cross Civic Services supports public agencies in Tulsa with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to constituent requests, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around case files against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
