Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

We are growing our team at Redstone Loom Manufacturing and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to scrap and rework, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around work orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with scrap and rework.
