Accountant - fixed assets (Tulsa, OK)

Summit Hollow Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for client records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tulsa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
