Accountant - fixed assets (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Logistics and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to premium billing, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around catastrophe response against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
