Accountant - fixed assets (Tampa, FL)

Lumen Sable Financial Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to vendor spend, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
