Accountant - fixed assets (Tampa, FL)

Rivermark Quill Health is a healthcare provider in Tampa with clinics and support teams, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to insurance authorisations, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
