Accountant - fixed assets (Tampa, FL)

Redstone Meadow Staffing is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on fixed assets for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around temp assignments against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client orders, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
