Accountant - fixed assets (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Quill Health Group provides primary and specialty care in St. Louis. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. • Track costs around insurance authorisations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
