Accountant - fixed assets (Spokane, WA)

Rivermark Facilities looks after properties across the Spokane region. We are hiring an Accountant to take on fixed assets. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer sites, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer sites. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
