Accountant - fixed assets (Spokane, WA)

Bright Corner Medical is a Spokane company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical evaluations, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
