Accountant - fixed assets (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Pike Pharma and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
