Accountant - fixed assets (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Fox Early Learning is an early-learning provider in San Antonio, and we need an Accountant to lead our fixed assets. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to enrolment, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
