Accountant - fixed assets (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Clear Telecom and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. We invest in training. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
