Accountant - fixed assets (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Rowan Facilities and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be fixed assets. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer sites, and clear open items. • Track costs around contractor visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
